only one list this time. the book writer probably just couldn't come up with enough for each sex, but these all are definitely not unisex names...

one of my best friends is Breezy, and I went to school with a girl named Star... they never really struck me as "hippie" names though.

I'm bored enough tonight....names of people in my graduating class, first and middle (if listed in the yearbook). I graduated in 2000, so most of these people would have been born in 1981/1982.

And what a fun bunch we are )

And, just for fun....odd names from classes after mine )

WHEW, that's a lot of names I don't blame you if you don't read half of them!

Here is the sib set of Alexz Johnson (Annie from So Weird), her real name is Alexzandra.  Matt, Andy, Brendan, Adam, Caity, Zac, McKenna, and Garrison.  I got this from IMDb, and they mention she also has a sister Jana, but for some reason was not included in that list.

Also, I check the birth announcements for the city I attended college at and in the last month there have been probably 6 babies born with the name Logan.  This city has only 3,000 permenant residents and usually no more than 5 babies born a week, sometimes none.

When I was pregnant with my son, my boyfriend loved the name that I picked out for him (although, we switched the first and middle names around). His name is Alexander Phillip. Before we knew I was going to have a boy, we were set on the girl name of Savannah Rae. The name that I have ALWAYS wanted to name my little girl.

Now, I'm pregnant again (YAY!!!!!!!) and my boyfriend has totally scratched Savannah Rae off the list. I'm so highly irritated!

So now I have to fall in love with a different name (if I have a girl). And as for boy names, I want to let him choose the name. But he wants a "junior", and I don't. I always thought the name sake was supposed to be the first born son.

Thoughts??

And I've been reading lists of names. But I want every one to just give ONE girl name and one boy name (first and middle combos of course). What is your absolutely FAVORITEST name? No lists, no toss ups, number one pick only!

Lucia(Loo-sha) Johanna.

I'm stuck on Lucia, but I'm finding it hard to find a good middle name, and since i discovered that my mother was named after her grandmother, and then named em after mine, I've sortof thought about continuing the tradition, but my mother's name is Joanne, which I'm not fond of, so I thought of Johanna...

I was at work today, and we were selling a lot of cakes. Someone wanted the name Charlotte written on a cake. Or that's what it sounded like. Whoever was taking the order asked them to spell the name, and I heard about as far as 'Sharlit', there might have been more letters after.  I'm almost 100% sure that's what they said (I was making waffle bowls, at the other end of the counter, so I could be wrong). But if I'm not .... D: D: D:

I just saw this name in a magazine:

Clairentine.

Maybe because my name is Claire...but I found it pretty odd. Has anyone else ever heard this name before?

my cousin (in his 30s) has the name : Colin Arbuthnot Fahrion.
Yes. Arbuthnot. apparently it's a family name in my uncles family.

second:

I have a great-great aunt who's middle name is DeNyse as in Denise (my name) spelled horribly. She was born in the 1910s.

strange, non?

(ONE) I'm looking for boys names that end in "SON." From some reason I really like the name Fredson, but apparently that is quite unacceptable! lol. I can kind of understand.

(TWO) Also, we are having quite a proplem finding girls names we like. My name is Ella, and every name I like has "Elle" or "Ella" in it, which i think would be weird. I love Stella, Eloise, Arabella, Annabel, even Isla! So any suggestions?

(THREE) Annndd... What do you think of the name Odette? I'm uncertian as to wheather I like it or not.

Thannnks lovelies.

Hi! I was just wondering what everyone's first penname was for the internet? I mean like for fanfiction.net and other sites as wellas the net in general. Mine was ironically enough Sadira Jewelsten. Jewelsten pronounced Jewel-stin. I even made up an OC with that name. I've used her in a book I'm currently workin' on. WDET? And what about the rest of you? My new penname is LittleGloriaFaith. It's derived from my fave angel on TBAA. What were your first pennames and how have they changed from then until now?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant with a little boy and STILL have not settled on a name. I often browse this community for inspiration and decided it was time to join and make a decision... or at least try to make one. If all else fails I'm waiting until I see my son and I'm hoping he will look like a name. My fiance would really like the middle name to be "Cade". For a while we were fairly certain we wanted to name him "Rowan", but neither of us were absolutely sure or in love with the name. Then recently I read the name "Cannon" and I came to really like it. I know it's a piece of artillery, but if you just think of it as a name and not a noun, I think it's a great boy's name. I just don't know if it would be one of those names that people would hear and say, "Oh my God! I can't believe she named her son CANNON! Poor kid!". I've known people with noun names and I think after you've known them for a while you forget that their name has another meaning. I used to know a "Gypsy" and now whenever I hear the word I think of her and not of an actual Gypsy.

Sooo.. any feedback or suggestions would be great! Thanks in advance :)

Evan, on a girl.
There was a girl in my store the other day, probably around 20 with this name and I kind of like it, it fit her well.
It's not really my style, and I highly doubt my fiance would ever go for it, but-

WDYT?
