WDYT of the following names?
i don't necessarily like all of them--just curious as to see what you all thought. also, i'm not really looking for reasons & such as to why you don't like them. just responses such as: i like, i hate, it's okay, etc.

I spent Saturday with my cousins' kids - most of them, eleven out of fourteen. Thought y'all might be interested in hearing their names, though there aren't any terribly exotic ones! They're in sibling groups:

Kevin John
John Walter (Jack)
Patrick Michael

Cailin Rose
Ryan Michael
Brendan (don't know his middle name)
Dylan James

James Cole & Connor Patrick (twins)
Nicola Grace (Nicki)

Fiona Hennessey & Susanna Patricia (twins)
Brian Michael Jr. (Buddy)

Josephine Maeve (Josie)

Raging in age from 10 years to 6 months. And of course they insist I play with them. (Fiona asked me if I was a grown-up or a kid. I take it as a compliment, but I do NOT have a kid's energy these days! Haha.) I'm still worn out!

here's the list of "favorites/things I'd consider", that I've been compiling. Some are kinda trendy though, so be warned.

My daughters name is Ceilidh Rhiannon,  a celebration of her Celtic heritage. Im expecting another child in a few months and im stuck on a girls name or combinations of girls names.

Ceilidh is pronounced Kaylee. I am really liking the name Seren (pronounced like Sairen) its a welsh word/name meaning star. but i cannot think of a middle name.

There are 12 years between the two children.

any ideas?

I have decided to change my name. I'm going to drop my last name (it's too long, hard to spell, ugly, etc.) and use my middle name as my last name. This will make my name Amanda Rose. I hate the idea of having only two names so I want a fun (within reason) middle name because Amanda and Rose are quite possibly two of the most boring names ever! Any suggestions on something that sounds good?

Thank you so much!

Edit: I'm Italian so something of that nature would be nice but I'm really concerned about rhyme-y names since most Italian girl names end in -a...help me! :)

Alright, so, here's some background info:
My name is Emily. It's too popular. I hate it.
< /background info >

I'm going to this camp next week in NYC (I live on Long Island, so even though it's only like an hour away, it's far enough that there'll be no one i know there) for about five days, and I thought maybe as a little experiment, I could try introducing myself with a different name, just to see how it feels to not be "just another Emily".
So I need some help.

I tried looking around, but seeing as I'm posting here, I obviously haven't found any names I like. My "new name" should start with an E, and really preferably, an EM, so my nickname can stay the same. It cannot cannot cannot cannot cannotttt be popular, because that's why I'm "starting over". So no Emmas, please. All I need is some suggestions.
And if it has a cool meaning, that would be fantabulous.

Thank you all so much:D. As a present for helping me out, I'll post some of the interesting names I encounter at camp for you all!

(And, if any of you care, my middle name is Kaitlyn, which I don't mind as much)

I found this list on a baby names forum. Whoever wrote it must have a similar tastes to me as there are no names that I HATE on the list, some I love more then others though. What are your favorites?

I'm not here every day, so I have no idea if posting name lists is still welcomed...but here it goes anyways. :)
At the moment I'm really into unusual names that are not too weird, that have a classic feel to them. I've actually started searching wikipedia for characters in opera, literature and mythology.

So please vote and tell me what you think. :)

ps: I set my list to public 2 days ago and it still hasn't showed up on their page. ugh. :/

I was watching an interview with Christian Bale in which he mentioned his daughter. So then I was like, hey! Names of the children of The Dark Knight stars. )

I was in Target today and I heard some interesting names. A little boy named Merit and a little girl named Brielle.

What do you think? I don't really like either of them.
