What do you think of the name Lillie Charlotte?

Where i get it from: it's a song created by a japanese band. After that song they created a whole story released in a book, telling the story of Lillie Charlotte and Jeremie, who were both in love before they even born. The book is about how Lillie thought Jeremie didn't love her and was going to commit suicide, just to know in the right moment that he loves her too... it's a really bad explanation, i know, but the story and the songs (there like 4 songs from the group inspired in this story) are just beautiful. In fact the line "we were in love even before we born" is the first line of one of the songs "Fiançailles".

Please, tell me what you think about the name!!  ^^

Danielle (honoring FIL, Daniel)

WDYT

it's #116 for 2006. Near Lydia, Amber, Valerie, Brianna, Jade, Gabriella, Kennedy, Charlotte, Catherine and Bailey.

Is it trendy for now? Or does it sound too 90's?

edit: tho I'm anti-formal names that are mainly un-used, as some of you know, I would prolly use Ellie, Dani, Dan, Danielle interchangeably, so Danielle wouldn't be a "formal" name.

There is a a lot of talk on here about the business card test, or "if you named your child that they could never be a doctor/lawyer/judge etc." I usually agree with these statements, but I got to thinking, "What are my doctor's names? Would I really choose a different doctor is their name was too weird?"

Here are the names some the the doctors I've seen:
Juli
Dyanna
Jeany
Nanette
Martin
Bob
Susan
Sunita
Stephen
Jeffery
Denise
Valerie
Robert
Melodie
Toby (F)
Wendi

Quite the cross-section.

What are the names of your doctors, lawyers and other "professionals"? Any surprises?

I've been a member of this community for a while, and I've noticed something that baffles me.

Some people worry that if they give two of their kids an A name, and the third kid a B name (for example), then the third kid will feel left out/unloved/awful.

I just don't get it! I think that you should name each child individually and not worry about whether or not it rhymes or matches with other names in the family. My name starts with A, my mum's name starts with S and my father and siblings have T names. I don't feel a thing! I've never thought "Hm why don't I have a T name" - it just seems so unimportant!

I respect that everyone has different opinions and ideas, which is why I'm bringing this up. Is it really that important?

ETA: I think I worded this a bit wrong. When I say you shouldn't worry about whether your children's names rhyme or not, I mean you shouldn't deliberately choose names that rhyme (think Cayden and Brayden). This drives me nuts. If you happen to like Cayden and Brayden, fine but if you're trying to create a rhyming sibset, why?

It seems that most of the names are those that begin with common letters like A, B, C, S, etc. Not very many names begin with "O", "Q", "U", "X", "Y", or "Z". Let's think of some names that begin with those, there are some good ones, some not so good.

Z--Zachary, Zechariah, Zander, Zavion, Zoe, Zara, Zaria, Zandra
Y--Yesenia, Yasmine, Yasmina, Yulissa, Yessica
X-Xavier, Xaviera, Xanthe (zan-thi),
Q--Quentin, Quiana, I don't know much of what else.
U--Ulysses like U.S. Grant. that's something not used much now. Ursula, like the sea witch.
O--Oswald (dont like), Olin, Owen, Ophelia, Opal

Do you have a name/child's name that is frequently misspelled?

My name is Stacey and usually when someone tries to spell my name I get Stacy or the occasional Stacie. I'm sure there are even people with the name that spell it Stacee or Stasee or some other variations...

I like my name spelled the way it is. Stacy seems incomplete to me. It just gets really annoying sometimes having it constantly misspelled.

I heard this name today, and it's really starting to grow on me...
