Yes, definitely, but once you give them an idea of how it's really pronounced, they seem to catch on pretty quickly.

I don't like it pronounced KASH-ah as much as KAH-shah or KASS-ee-ah, but I do like it. I prefer it spelled Cassia.

Also agree...Cassia is gorgeous, IMO. I prefer a sort of "KAZH-ya" pronunciation. :)
