Remaining top fives for boys...

All right, to continue: list your top five favorite names for each letter of the alphabet. Still boys' names, this time P-Z. For H-O, see this post. For inspiration, try Behind the Name.

Again, please note that many names are least disliked instead of most liked.

Game!

Get yourself a crazy wild, super
uncommon
name! You never know where the good inspiration comes from :P

I'm Lovetta Lamonica Micco! LOL

Darcy

What do you all think of this name, and for a boy or girl?
I have only ever known boys named Darcy.

Girl Names

I'm having a baby in April and, although I don't know the sex yet, I'm having a damn hard time coming up with girl names. All my life I had a huge list of girl names that I liked and little to no boy names. Now, here I am with my boy name pretty much decided and very little in the way of girl names. I dunno. I'm really frustrated. I know I still have 7 months to decide but I don't necessarily want to leave it until the last minute.

Here is my very short list of girl names (none of which I LOVE though):
Carmen/Carmela
Cecily
Isobel
Maile
Piper

Right now I'm undecided if I'll give the baby my last name or the father's last name but it will either be Trenholm or MacEachern.

Suggestions?!?

Welsh Names

A few days ago I asked about Welsh names, and no one seemed to know many. Probably cause none of you live in Wales, but that's besides the point!

Well I have compiled a list of my favourite Welsh names, with some info about them! Most of them come from one site, and I don't know how accurate it is!

So - what do you think? What are your favourites?

Tacky?

An internet acquaintance of mine met her now SO through the internet. They're expecting their first child together for this winter and it's a girl. They're in Denmark and she's part english. They haven't settled for a first name, but they're toying with the idea of using Java as a middle name, as a tribute to technology, which they credit for bringing the 2 of them together.

I think Java sounds nice, and it looks close to Jada, but it makes me think of the tea. Exotic enough, that's for sure. But naming your kid after computer applications? I'm not sure what I think of it.

WDYT? Do you find their choice to be tacky?

P.S. I think they're considering Anabel and Sofie for first names.

(no subject)

My cousin is having a baby in March, her and her boyfriend havn't came up with any definite names as of now, but she wanted me to post here and ask opinions on the names they're considering.

They've made a deal, her boyfriend gets to chose the girls name and she gets to chose the boys.

Girls

Molly (this is the favourite at the moment)
Danica (I really don't like this)
Milly/Millie (as a stand alone name, they don't like any names where Milly can be used as a nickname)

Boys

Charlie (favourite at the moment. And it'll just be Charlie, not Charles.)
Noah
Kyle

My favourites are the same as theirs, Molly and Charlie..though i do like Noah alot too. I hate Kyle and Danica.
Oh and they already have a 2 year old named Madison =)

Beatrice

Too old woman for you? Do you see beat-rice before anything else?

What do you guys think?

Lynx ________ ?

So my husband and I brought another cat home. He's been given the first name of Lynx but I would like a middle name to go with the first one. I cannot think of one I like with it. I like the names I've thought of individually but they just don't flow well.

Thanks! :D
