My cousin is having a baby in March, her and her boyfriend havn't came up with any definite names as of now, but she wanted me to post here and ask opinions on the names they're considering.

They've made a deal, her boyfriend gets to chose the girls name and she gets to chose the boys.

Girls

Molly (this is the favourite at the moment)
Danica (I really don't like this)
Milly/Millie (as a stand alone name, they don't like any names where Milly can be used as a nickname)

Boys

Charlie (favourite at the moment. And it'll just be Charlie, not Charles.)
Noah
Kyle

My favourites are the same as theirs, Molly and Charlie..though i do like Noah alot too. I hate Kyle and Danica.
Oh and they already have a 2 year old named Madison =)

Millie is the only nickname I can think of condoning as a given name (and I say yes to it with caution), because I do sort of love it and yet hate hate hate Millicent. Charlie, on the other hand, is not good--I can see naming a girl Charlie, but not a boy who could very well be named Charles.
I'm in favor of Noah, and I guess Millie or Molly (I hate Danica too).

Yeah all the Millie's I know, that is their given name.
I see where you're coming from with Charlie but again, all the male Charlie's i know (with the exception of 1) that is their given name too. I know one female Charlie and her given name is Charlotte.
I don't really care for the name Charles, i'm not sure why but i've never liked it lol.

I really like Danica and Noah. Kyle and Molly are nice, too, but I don't really like Millie or Charlie. I'm not a fan of nicknames as first names, especially things that end with the "ee" sound at the end because they seem so much more juvenile.

Have they thought of using Millie as a nickname for Camilla? Behind the Name suggested it, and I had only ever considered Millie to be a nickname for Millicent or Mildred.

Our daughter is Camille and will be called Milly when she has to have a nickname (I don't like Cami.)

My teacher in high school was a Molly and she absolutely hated it. Like, it's a good name for a little kid but it's not something you can grow into as you get older. She was about 50 and hated that she was a Molly while the eighteen year old Molly in my class felt the same way.

Danica isn't so bad. Dani is a cute nickname for a little girl.

I also don't like 'nickname' names as first names. I guess Millie isn't so bad but Charlie is. Like, Charlie is nice for a little kid but as he grows older and gets into the professional work place it's not going to sound that professional to introduce himself as just 'Charlie.'

Noah and Kyle are both very nice, simple names with longevity. I don't personally like Noah but it's a good name.

I like Noah, with Kyle as a second favorite.
But Charlie and Millie.. they're nicknames, not names! they don't pass the business card test, please tell her :P
And Danica.. are they aware it is actually pronounced Dan-its-ah?
Oh, btw.. they might like this: Milica is another slavic name, it combines Milly and Danica.

I actually like Danica and Kyle the best XD lol Noah is also cute.
question though, is Milly/millie prn like "Mill-ee" or "My-lee" because my grandmother had Millie as nickname, her name was Carmella, and it was prn "Mill-ee"

Molly's my name and I like it okay. I think it would be cute on a little baby. And I'm only 20 but I don't feel like I'll ever feel too old for it or grow out of it or anything.

I like all of the boy names but I don't like Charlie as an actual name and not short for Charles. Noah and Kyle are really cute.

I think all the boys' names are great, and I actually prefer Charlie to Charles. My favourite is definitely Noah, though. The girls' names are absolutely not my style, but I think I would like Millie as a nickname for Milena ("mee-LEH-nah").

I like Molly, but mostly as a nick-name for Mary. So when she grows up and doesn't want to be a Molly anymore, she can always go by Mary. Milly also strikes me as a nick-name, mainly for Millicent, but I have a cousin named Emily and she's called Milly for short.

Noah's a bit too popular for me, and Kyle is...eh. I love love love Charlie -- but as a nick-name for Charles. Like Molly, he can always go by Charles if he gets tired of Charlie.

I really like Molly, but Millie by itself is way too much like a nickname. Danica isn't really my style, but it's not bad.

I love Charlie, but AS A NICKNAME. Using it by itself always seems so annoying to me. The kid is going to be an adult someday, applying for jobs, and they're going to be like, "Charlie, huh? Doesn't know you're supposed to put your FULL NAME on your application..." and throw the resume on the reject pile without even looking at it. I just find it ridiculous.

I also really like Noah. Kyle is way too 80s to me, though.

Danica makes me think of Danica Patrick...and that's not a good thing, IMO. Millie is too old lady-ish for my taste, so definately Molly is my favorite out of those three.

I really like the name Noah. Kyle is cute. I don't like Charlie. I'm not sure why, but something about it makes me go *ick*

Charlie - Love it just as Charlie. My baby cousin's name, so I'm slightly biased as he's so gorgeous!
Noah - not a fan myself, but there's nothing wrong with it!
Kyle - Nice name. Like a lot!
