Hello,

I'm not planning on TTC for a few years yet, but I am starting to think about baby names. First of all, one of my husband's favorite pieces of writing is Shakespeare's "The Tempest". Also, we both have strong personalities, so it's not unlikely that our daughter will be stubborn and spunky (like her mom and dad). Also, we both love nature imagery, but I don't want this name to sound like a hippy name.

We're thinking Tempest (middlename) Watson (our last name isn't Watson, but it's a two-syllable last name ending in son, so Watson works as placeholder where rhythm is concerned.). Tess as nickname.

Does it sound too flower-child to you? And what are some good middle names to accompany such a unique first name?

All right, to continue: list your top five favorite names for each letter of the alphabet. We're on girls' names now, A-I. For boys' names P-Z, see this post. For inspiration, try Behind the Name.

Again, please note that several names are least disliked instead of most liked.

From the first birthday announcements:

Kamden Kemmer

EDIT: My comments with [livejournal.com profile] easter reminded me...

I don't know if any of you follow the sport of NASCAR, but one of the driver's, his full name is Kasey Kenneth Kahne.

Yeah....

I've really liked the name Odette for quite a few years now, but when I told two of my friends about it they both felt it was a bit dated. What do you guys think? Is it original or just old-fashioned?
