When I was born, my dad wanted my name to be Stevie, after Stevie Nicks( singer. fleetwood mac). My mom was totally against it. He even said he'd want Stephaine(sp?) and then call me Stevie. She didn't budge. I was wondering, would you want to name your daughter Stevie?

My family.

So I've decided to randomly list my familys names and my aunts familys names because I think theyve all got pretty decent names, WDYT?

Melissa Faye (born Phoebe Gail, but changed when adopted)
Christopher Vinten

Christina Grace (that's me)
Emily Kathleen
Hannah Angeline

William Terry
Elizabeth Ann

Justin James Patrick
Simon Nicholas
Sarah Elizabeth

Alannah Elizabeth

or

Alannah Leslie

We plan to call her Ally for short, but her given name will be Alannah.  Do either of these middle names work?  They are both family names, so I would like to use one.  But maybe I should come up with a different one?

Brena (Bren-ah) Lillian? My ultrasound is tomorrow, not sure if either are female yet but I'm enjoying playing with female names.

Her full name would be Brena Lillian Dealy (pronounced Daily)

Opinions/suggestions appreciated. :)

hello :)

what do you think about the name TABATHA

I don´t really like it ...well..to be honest ..I HATE this name...
I think it sounds terrible !

but it´s the favourite girlsname of my best friend !

TABATHA
Gender: Feminine

Usage: English

Pronounced: TAB-a-tha

Variant of TABITHA

I told her that she should NEVER call her babygirl Smilies (if she is pregnant one day) tabatha...but I "allowed" her to give her the name SAMANTHA (as this is her second fave girls name)

and she wants to name her first babyboy DOMINIC Smilies

samantha and dominic would be perfect for a sibset IMO

what do you think ?

The other day I saw the name Klarian for a boy. I don't like it at all. Opinions?

So i played with my top names a little bit. I looked at the hyphens for the two middle name deal i had going on... Yeah, hyphens were bad. Also, I spelled Cadence correctly. Kaydence? What was i thinking? I also love the band "A Cadence of Sorts" so it works out. I also added nicknames. Here's the repost:

Some of these I've heard before, like Frank Zappa's kids' names, and Jason Lee's, and Penn's, but some are just....weird. And interesting. What do you think?

Names! )

Just joined today and quite happy about that!! I've always had a certain fascination with names and even though i'm 18 and not planning on any children, i'd LOVE to start making a list of names i adore, so i hope y'all dont mind!!

I have a bizarre name myself...

Ranirose, Rani for short =)

the "rose" part was supposed to be my middle name... but they put it together with my first name on my birth certificate... hahaha alittle bit of a mistake! but hey, i like it, so i decided to keep it. My parents let me make the decision, which as nice of them. Well actually, my sister named me, but thats a WHOLE different entry for a different day!

Rani:
Hebrew: My song, my joy

ok before your brain implodes let me explain!!

Rani = RAH ni (like Ronnie or Ronny or any other Roni alternative you can think of, its all said the same)

I HAVE AN OBSESSION with the name Stanton. I absolutely LOVE that name... but cant find a suitable middle name. I was thinking Gabriel, but i feel that makes the whole name too busy... i feel like it needs to be simpler... ideas?
