hello :)

what do you think about the name TABATHA

I don´t really like it ...well..to be honest ..I HATE this name...
I think it sounds terrible !

but it´s the favourite girlsname of my best friend !

TABATHA
Gender: Feminine

Usage: English

Pronounced: TAB-a-tha

Variant of TABITHA


I told her that she should NEVER call her babygirl (if she is pregnant one day) tabatha...but I "allowed" her to give her the name SAMANTHA (as this is her second fave girls name)

and she wants to name her first babyboy DOMINIC

samantha and dominic would be perfect for a sibset IMO

what do you think ?

it doesn't matter when. Bewitched is an old show even now.
I also find it a little funny at her boy's name starts with a D (like Darrin in Betwitched) as well.

I just asked her..she doesnt know "bewitched"
she heard tabatha once in school and samantha is a name of a friend and she fell in love with this name

we talked about our future baby(names) ..and I told her I dont like tabatha at all...and since that day she is teasing me with that name..
it´s fun !

of course I would never say NO to a name she´d choose for her baby (if she would be pregnant)...I would support her...even if I dont like the name !

come on..smile ^^

I'm not crazy about Tabatha either, especially spelt like that. I don't like Samantha, but I like Dominic.

On a different note, I could hardly read this post because of the insane amount of animated smiley things. :-\

I don't like Tabatha at all! I'm not a fan of Tabitha, but this spelling is even worse 8).
As for Samantha...I like the nickname Sam, so...And Dominic is cute =)

Tabatha is bad, but Tabitha is okay.

I don't like the name Samantha - I actually don't like names with 'man' in them in general (such as Samantha, Amanda.)

I much prefer Tabetha, and not just because it's my name. I think the "Beth" is more appealing than the "Bath" or "Bith" of the other names.

Keep in mind Tabatha (of any spelling) will be shortened to Tabby. Trust me. I personally find it annoying.

I should also mention that whenever people forget my name they call me Samantha, I can't even count the number of times it's happened LOL. People seem to recall my name is after a character in Bewitched but just not sure which.

I prefer the spelling of Dominik.
