Sep. 9th, 2007 08:28 amWhat names (male and female) do you think go well with Savannah Marie? My sister-in-law is pregnant, and is trying to find names that fit into her style -- which I guess you can say is hip/classy -- yet still go well with her first daughter's name.
These are some names she likes:
Dakota
Lane
Preston
Charlie
Lilian
Morgan
Jade
BTW, Marie isn't just a "filler" name, her daughter was given the mn after her grandmother.
Also, WDYT of the name Savannah in general?

Slightly Odd.
Sep. 9th, 2007 10:03 amThe oldest is four, his younger brother is about five months and mum is almost three months pregnant. The boys are named Curtis and Lucas, and if the next one is a boy, she will call him Marcus.
WDYT?
Lucas and Marcus are both on my list, but I always considered them mutually exclusive.

Sep. 9th, 2007 02:46 pmI haven't posted my list of names yet, so here it is.
( The boys )
( The girls )
McGhee and Monroe are family last names. Kenneth, Alan, Margaret, and Jane are the middle names of our parents. Deacon is the last name of my boyfriend's best friend. Kevin's adamant about naming a boy after him. I can't stand his first or middle names (Eric and Roberto), so the current compromise is Deacon.

Sep. 9th, 2007 04:16 pmI work as a cashier, so when I work I have to check customer's credit cards, and thus have read some interesting, unusual, and awful names. I started keeping a list, and here it is so far:
Kinnegan
Easter
Corny (I am told that this used to be a nickname for Cornelius, which is a decent name, but why a person would want to go by Corny, I don't know!)
Trona
Theodosia
Morning Star (her first name, not first and middle, fyi)
Dagny
Bertha
Feather
Dimple (so, so, awful...)
Christianne
Hyacinth
Lezly (ouch, spelling)
Vulcan
Gwentha
Jacquetta
And today I was ringing up a lady who had her little daughter with her and as she was giving me the money, the girl made a break for the gumball machines outside, and the mom called after her, "Visa, get back here! Visa!" She said the name a few times, so I know that I didn't just mishear it. She named her daughter Visa. WTYT?

Sep. 9th, 2007 10:20 pmHey my names Jasmine, I've never actually made a post, but it's probably my most frequently visited community.
Here are names that i currently have chosen for my future babehs. ^-^
James Dashiell (Jamie); After my grandad who i was very close too, passed away last year. I'm not a fan of James itself but love the idea of naming my firstborn son after my grandad, so thus Jamie came along. It actually came from a dream i had. Dashiell, because i can't really find a good middle name, in suggestions?
and for girls;
Sabella Lucia (nn Bella)
Arielle Mila (nn Ari)
Lucy Sweethearte
Lily Jasmine
Some old names i had on my list;
Verity Jane
Wesleigh Samantha
Matilda Frances
Delilah Belle (not from the song.)
Sebastien Travis
Sullivan (nn. Sully)
And just some names that are floating around me, be they friends, family, clients, coworkers. It's always good to have some different names out there, you never know you may find the perfect name :]
Owen
Ceri (pn. kerry, she's welsh)
Phillipa (Pippa)
Zavion
Alec
Zeik
Adrienne
Sharma
Asher
Carys
Aloma
Teina ( pn. Tayna)
Jayah
Olive
Sheridan
Mackenzie
Belinda
Jacinda

Sep. 9th, 2007 11:37 pmToday I was watching a slew of programs that TLC was running. They were all about multiple child households. We're talking the smallest one was 13 kids! On that particular show, there were three kids whose names made me raise my eyebrow just a little bit. o_O
Keilah - pronounced as Kayla
Josiah - pronounced as Joes-eye-uh
Havilah - pronounced as Have-ih-la
