I thought we weren't going to try for another baby for another year or a little more (I was hoping not more!) but that's changed. Now we're saying as soon as we can move into a 3 bedroom place we'll start trying immediately after. That may still be some months off, but it's a lot quicker than I had expected!

I've been playing around with Henry and Theodore ever since the name combo game. Which is unusual since I usually avoid the more classic names. But I felt maybe some of my boy picks weren't masculine enough. So I started looking in different directions to cover my bases. I am not worried about either of them gaining more popularity. I love them because they're definitely masculine.

I think Henry Theodore is just terrific in that order so I don't need help for Henry. But I would also like to come up with a combo using Theodore as the first name, on the premise we would call him Teddy as a nickname.

I've already considered Theodore Henry, and Theodore Henrik, but I want to see what else we can come up with. So it would be Theodore ______ Gibbons.

Another question: Is Hank the only nickname for Henry or am I missing one?

Celebrities tend to name their kids some weird names. Sometimes, the names they pick sound like reasonable names,

So, are there any names on the list you would name your kid? Or what odd/exotic names do you like?

My friend Stephanie Lynn and her husband Eric (no middle), along with older sister Kaylie Lynn (2), have welcomed Tessa Marie.

I really am not a fan of any of the names.  Kaylie doesn't age well to me (most names that end in that -ee noise don't sound right if you add Gramma before them, except old names like Elsie) and Tessa makes me think of Degrassi High: School's Out. (I really hope someone gets that reference....)

Today I got the lovely surprise of discovering that a co-worker that I really don't get along with and I share similar taste in names. A third co-worker is having a baby (due in early May) and there are lots of jokes going around work about names and gender (the parents aren't finding out the gender). I found a list of names written completely seriously and am both amused and concerned by some of the choices.

I bring you, from this month's Glamour(Page 259), this gem:

Mom: Erika
Dad: Jheudys
Daughter: Jheidelys

I would really, really like to know how to say that little girl's name. Because I have no idea. Pretty sure dad is pronounced like Judas? I think?
