I bring you, from this month's Glamour(Page 259), this gem:

Mom: Erika
Dad: Jheudys
Daughter: Jheidelys

I would really, really like to know how to say that little girl's name. Because I have no idea. Pretty sure dad is pronounced like Judas? I think?

...Well that's never going to be misspelled.

I asked my husband and he thinks it is Jade-uh-lees. Like Jade and Elyse combined? I was saying it more with Heidi but nothing sounded right.

Minus the negative connotations, I really like the name Judas. Hate what was done to the spelling. Like someone else said, I keep coming up with Jade-Elise for the daughter's name. If that's what it is, it has a nice enough sound, but again, the spelling is horrendous.

I must be the only one who tried a Germanic-ish pronunciation and thought it was "JYE-duh-liss". "Jade-Elise" is much better (and I'm hoping that's what it is).
