I'm due on Monday with our second son. We are set on the name Milo Drake but I don't love it which is bumming me out. I love Milo and we have to use Drake because it is for my late FIL so i've been thinking of adding another middle to make it flow better. Any suggestions?

These are the names of my camp counselors' babies...not all of them, of course, since I don't remember all the names, but here are the names I remember.

GIRLS:
August
Betsy
Nova
Freya
Nellie (Eleanor, I think)

BOYS:
Cyrus

I forgot what Nellie's little brother's name was. I'm thinking it was Campbell?

WDYT? (Nova and Freya are sisters, I think four years old and six months respectively)

How do you pronounce the name 'Georgiana'?

jor-JAY-nuh?

jor-JYAH-nuh?

jor-jee-YAH-nuh?

Something else?

Just curious, because I've heard it pronounced all three ways, though I like the first pronunciation the best.

I'm thinking naming my next daughter Malaiya would be a little tacky since my other daughters name is Makayla..
Problem is I really like it. What do you all think?

Between Joshua Alexander and Jordan Alexander ?

We're in Italy, so some of the pronunciations are different:
Alexander = Alek-SAHN-der
Jordan = JAWR-dahn

Last name starts with L, 3 syllables, final syllable contains double S
The settled name for a girl is Alma, middle name to be determined.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Boy Names

I am not pregnant yet, but husband and I love picking out baby names and hopefully we will get pregnant in 2009!  So I need help with boy names.  Our girl list is waay too long, but our boy list is pathetically short.  Dad-to-be is Thad Harrison.

I like names that start with vowels.  I like traditional names, but not COMMON names.  My favorite so far is Oliver.  Elliot is my runner-up.

ETA:
Other family names: Andrew Montgomery, Peyton Yates, Brian David, Dale Lynn, Lennie Simmons, David Alemaine, Philip Joseph, Claude, Stuart Warwick.

hey everyone! just joined. making a post :)

I'm not far enough along yet to know the sex of the baby *but I'm hoping for a boy, so that's been my main focus for names* but I've been thinking of names relating to books and art, like authors or characters from stories, and famous artists. Tesla also came up, lol.

but the only thing I end up coming back to is Machiaveli, which is the only thing me and my baby-daddy can agree on D:

any suggestions? I'd like to hear anyone's input :)

Name from a new episode of Law & Order SVU: Fidelia (f). WDYT? Because I think it's terribly ugly.
