I really like the name Harmony but am stuck on middle names for it. It has to go with the last name Mallon. My first daughter's name is Sabrina Isis Renée. I have two middle names as does my father and his entire family but I may be the first to stop it (why not? what is the point of two middle names anyhow?). Any ideas on Harmony followed by either one or two middle names?
So far all I've got is Harmony Rae Cenedra (Cenedra is from the Wheel of Time series). I also really like the names Daphne and Celeste so could also drop Harmony and go with one of those instead.

I was looking on Wikipedia at a list of possible Republican VP candidates and looked at Sarah Palin (Governor of Alaska)'s page.  She has some interesting kids names.  She has 5 children:
Track (m) - 19ish
Bristol (f) - 17
Willow - 13
Piper - 7
Trig Paxson Van (m) - 4 months

So since I can't sleep, I thought I'd post the names of my friends on Facebook.  Names I like are starred.

Hi all. I was hoping for advice on some character names (I don't have little ones, or little ones on the way, so I hope character names are okay).

I like knowing the meaning of names, as it helps with symbolism, and occasionally, imagery. I like creative/unusual names, and have recently gotten "into" combined names (i.e. Sarah + Elizabeth = Sarelizabeh. Apprently I had a doll when I was like 3 with this name). But I'd like to open myself up to more possibilities and not limit myself to what sounds great right now, but doesn't stay with the story.

I was hoping I could get some honest feedback (and, as I'm aware of recent drama in here over asking for honest feedback, I *DO* want honest feedback, even if it means I suck at my name choices right now lol) on some names I have already picked out.

I would like to ask, if you can, that if you obliterate a name choice, could you offer a replacement of sorts? I'd really appreciate it.

So here are the names I'm questioning right now:

Peter Alan (oldest)
Zachery Curtis (middle)
Joshua William (youngest)

Calandria Mariana (oldest of 12 brothers and sisters)
(This is a name I know I could use help with. I thought it was *so* cool and *so* edgy when I was in high school, but it doesn't seem so anymore. I need a name that can have a couple differnt nicknames, but that isn't completely laughable when said aloud).

Thanks all.

Edit to add: The boys are in a totally separate story from the girl. Also, this is not for a fanfiction. These are both from novels I hope to publish soon.

I'm pregnant with my second child, and I'm not sure if its a boy or a girl yet, but I've been thinking of baby names. Girl names are fairly easy to me because there are more girl names that I really like, but I have a hard time with boy names. Any suggestions? I like traditional, commonly used names (my daughter's name is Caitlyn). Any suggestions would be welcome and appreciated! Thanks :O)

Today's babies:

Charlotte Elizabeth (Lachlan) -- I really really dislike the name Charlotte!
Diezel Matthew (Halle, Shayla) -- Halle and Diezel in one family makes me think they are celeb-focussed...?
Henry Martin (Alexander, Isaac) -- Like Alexander, but Isaac and Henry are bleh
John Alan -- Meh
Max Patrick David (Dallas (f)) -- Dallas on a girl?? Love Max
Ruby Claire & Archie Robert (William, Jack, Charlie) -- Ruby Claire - my second favourite name combo! And Archie Robert is sweet too! Nice sibset.

Names from our newspaper, siblings in brackets.

Jacob John Howard
Ella Grace
Brett Elgin
Jamie Drew (f) (Morgan, f)
Liam Christopher Robert
Gareth Reed (Sydnee, f)
Teagan Birch (f)
Gavin Lee
Sadie Maya (Saskia)
Jordan Xavier Jonathan (Sierra, Logan)
Eric Leif (Reed)
Paige Audrey (Madison)
Mateo John
Devynn Ellen (Cailynn, Braedyn)
Samuel Philippe
Ciara Hayley (Claire, Charles, Catherine)
William Daniel (Fiona, Gwyneth)

I was pretty impressed at the names at first, but they got worse as I kept reading. I do like quite a few of these names, though, especially Gavin, Jordan, Mateo and William. I dislike Gareth, Devynn, Madison and Teagan the most. I was surprised at the number of cases where multiple middle names were given!

I'm pretty impressed with the sibset William, Fiona and Gwyneth. Not a fan of Devynn, Cailynn and Braedyn, though! I don't love sibsets where they all start with the same letter, but at least Ciara, Claire, Charles and Catherine are all decent names individually.

I'm normally not a fan of boys' names on girls, but as boys names go Jamie and Morgan are pretty decent in my books. I normally prefer a feminine middle name if the first one could be either, but in this case her father's name was Drew, so I think that works.

Lavinia. This one is an old one, it hasn't been popular for a while. I do think it's very pretty. I think a good nn would be Livvy or Lia. Is it bad that it starts with "lav" though?
Eden is nice.
Hazel, now that's another blast from the past, and Edith. I think those are making a comeback.

what do you think of the name geoffrey? the combo geoffrey orion? any other suggestions?

So seeing my name in a boys list a couple posts down made me think of this. (I was aware it's a boys name, or at least the boys spelling? But I haven't thought about it *too* much, except that I don't like it a whole lot)

So I wanted to get your opinions on a couple of names:

Jessica Aaron (f) (she later changed this to Jessica Erin)
Casey Paige (f) (I have not changed this..yet?)

Jon (f) (I don't know her middle name)

Edited to make the sibset more clear.

From another paper that I read ... thankfully not where I actually live, I think I'd have to move, based on some of these! This paper doesn't list siblings, unfortunately :(

Nikki Lea
Noah Michael
Madison Robin Anne
Magnus Alexander
Chloe Veronica
Hudson Kendrick David
Travis Edward Timothy
Torrie Anne
Ashton Michael Denis
Noah Matthew
Griffin Nate
Michael Anthony
Caleb Daniel
Aidan Willis
Trinity Leahla Hope
Calvin Andrew
Ethan Daniel Emmett
McKenna Rayella Alexandra
Tanner Charles
Noelle Anne Gweneth
Ronan Walter Blaine
Tessa Tina Sam
Marra Jade (isn't this a Star Wars name? Albeit misspelled...)

I suppose most of these are pretty harmless, but some of the combinations they came up with are really odd, especially Tessa Tina Sam. My favourites by far are Noah and Ethan. I also really like Torrie and Nikki, but as nicknames, not given names. Trinity is kind of a guilty pleasure name for me, but that combination is a bit much.

Calvin, Caleb, Griffin, Travis, Hudson, Chloe, etc. are not my style, but there's nothing *wrong* with them. I really dislike Madison and McKenna.

So my husband and I are pretty sure we're going to be having a baby boy. We won't technically find out until September 29th, but we've been trying to come up with middle names that work with the boys name that we have picked out - Liam.

For reference, our last name is Norman.

Here are some of the names in our family just in case, but we'd like something kind of different since none of our family names really strike me. Help, please!?!?!

Lance Milton, Benjamin Chad, Jonathan Lucas, Curtis Alan (My husband), Kenneth George, Michael, George, Raymond, Mark William, Matthew, Christopher, Steven, Ronald - I think that's all of the men in our immediate families.

Any ideas? Thanks so much!

What do you think of the sibset

Henry (13)
Demi (9)
Louis (7)
Oli (1)

Also, WDYT of Isobule (pr. like Isabel) for a boy. He goes by Bol as a nn. I really dislike it. He was a Spanish boy so I was wondering if it's a Spanish name?

EDIT: to add ages.
