Aug. 23rd, 2008 08:33 pmWhat do you think of the sibset
Henry (13)
Demi (9)
Louis (7)
Oli (1)
Also, WDYT of Isobule (pr. like Isabel) for a boy. He goes by Bol as a nn. I really dislike it. He was a Spanish boy so I was wondering if it's a Spanish name?
EDIT: to add ages.

Date: 2008-08-23 08:30 pm (UTC)Plus, how could it be prn like Isabelle in Spanish??
It should be Ee-zoe-BOO-l, or not far from that.
Demi means "half" in french, so I think it's pretty weird.
Oli is ok as short for Oliver.
Except for Demi, the sibset makes sense.

Date: 2008-08-23 08:34 pm (UTC)I was in Spain, so I just assumed they were Spanish. Maybe the mother just liked the name for either sex.
Oli isn't a nn for Oliver. It's the childs full fn.
Demi is quite popular here in England, although NMS.

Date: 2008-08-23 08:45 pm (UTC)I don't particularly like Isobule at all. Way too close to Isabel. And Isabel has Spanish origins, so it's not like it's from a totally different culture.

Date: 2008-08-24 03:00 am (UTC)isobule is awful. theres no way, to me, that its (correctly) pronounced the same as isabel. it looks like it would be izz-oh-byool. horrifying.
