Lavinia. This one is an old one, it hasn't been popular for a while. I do think it's very pretty. I think a good nn would be Livvy or Lia. Is it bad that it starts with "lav" though?
Eden is nice.
Hazel, now that's another blast from the past, and Edith. I think those are making a comeback.

I love the name Lavinia, after the song by The Veils :)
In Italy, for example, she'd be shortened to Lavy (LAV-ee).
I also like Linnie, thought it may be far fetched.

I don't think "lav" would be a problem..

Eden is also really fresh-sounding!
I like it both prn EE-den and EH-den, which is how it's pronounced in Italy.

I'm not big on Hazel, but I like the sound. Edith, not a fan.

Hazel is definitely making a comeback. Hopefully it doesn't get too popular before I have kids, because it's one of my top 3 names.

lavinia makes me think of the really spoiled girl in the little princess, so even though it's nice, i couldn't use it. i like the name eden a lot. hazel is pretty, but it's not my style. i'm not a fan of edith either.

I love it! I like Livana, too, which I found through Baby Name Bible. Eden isn't my style, but nice; I'm not fond of Hazel at all.

Those are four names that I do not like. Maybe they're just not my style, I don't know what it is. I find all of them incredibly unattractive. I don't think Lavinia is pretty at all. Well, Eden actually isn't that bad, and if ever need be (like I ever end up with a guy who really likes it), I could use it as a middle name.

I LOVE Hazel and Edith. They're both on my short list of names I would use. Hazel is just terrific, and Edith is also my grandmother's name.

I'm not really a fan of Lavinia, but I think Livvy or Lia would be appropriate as a nickname, and because the pronunciation doesn't emphasize the "lav" I don't think it would be an issue.

I have very positive associations with the Edith.

Lavinia makes me think of Titus Andronicus. Which opens a huge box of "DO NOT WANT!!"

Lavinia is fine except it makes me think LaVinia.
