Some names I like
Aug. 23rd, 2008 02:31 pmLavinia. This one is an old one, it hasn't been popular for a while. I do think it's very pretty. I think a good nn would be Livvy or Lia. Is it bad that it starts with "lav" though?
Eden is nice.
Hazel, now that's another blast from the past, and Edith. I think those are making a comeback.

Date: 2008-08-23 06:49 pm (UTC)In Italy, for example, she'd be shortened to Lavy (LAV-ee).
I also like Linnie, thought it may be far fetched.
I don't think "lav" would be a problem..
Eden is also really fresh-sounding!
I like it both prn EE-den and EH-den, which is how it's pronounced in Italy.
I'm not big on Hazel, but I like the sound. Edith, not a fan.

Date: 2008-08-23 11:01 pm (UTC)I'm not really a fan of Lavinia, but I think Livvy or Lia would be appropriate as a nickname, and because the pronunciation doesn't emphasize the "lav" I don't think it would be an issue.
