Hi! Lauren here. I hope everyone is doing well. I’ve had dreams not only with names in them, but these dreams are of my three and sometimes four adopted daughters! I’m not kidding! I’m going to try and summarize this here as best I can. But for more detail, just read my LJ! In the dreams, my three and sometimes four adopted daughters are named Kaia Rose, Zaida Nicole, Kiana Hope, Ana for short and Sophie Elisabeth. Sometimes my fourth daughter is named Gloria Faith, but most of the time, it’s Sophie Elisabeth. I’ve had these dreams since Dec 2006 and I’ve written them out in story form for everyone to enjoy them. The people who have read them so far really seem to like them a lot!

When I write the dream stories, I write the girls exactly how they act in the dreams.

Who? God
What? He loves you.
Where? Everywhere.
When? Always, forever, without ceasing.
How? Unconditionally, totally and completely.
Why? Because you are His child

Not expecting any time soon or anything (I always feel like I need to clarify this! Haha I don't know why), but lately I've been really bored with my favorite names- they used to be really fluid but now I don't think I've made a change in at least 6 monthes so I'm getting bored, and yet I haven't seen any names I like more. Can you guys recommend me some new ones? For girls I usually like classic trendy but not new-trendy, like Catherine, Juliet, Charlotte, Leah and Eloise. For boys I usually go for the popular biblical ones, but I also like "sharp" sounding names- Oliver, Nikolai, Gabriel, Jonas, Asher.

I came across Juliana. I think it's pretty. I also found that it has a variant of "Yuliana" that's on the top 1000. I think it's because a
"J" is often given a "Y" sound in some languages. WDYT of Juliana and Yuliana?

Jennifer Lopez is rumored to have picked the names for the fraternal twins she is expecting: Max and Emme (boy and girl).
Linkie

WDYT?

My thoughts: Max is already Christina Aguilera's kid's name, it may be a childish reasoning, but what's with giving a plain name that some other celebrity kid, born around the same time, alreay has?
And Emme? As in Emmy Awards? It's not even a name?

Overall evaluation: I'm boo-ing her names :P

Because I have too much time on my hands:
David Thomas, Timothy Michael and Michelle Leigh
Amanda Ashley, Melanie
Jessica Diane, Erin Nicole
Amanda Gail, Matthew Thomas
Heather, Robert, Mackenzie Leigh
Erin, Laura, Theresa Daniella

And in honor of Bob Marley's birthday: His full name was Robert Nesta Marley

I definitely like Robert but not the nickname Bob.
I might use Nesta. I can't get a definite meaning but I think it's really nice-sounding

1. What do you think of Pharoah for a boy?

2. What are some good middle names for Juliet (for a girl obviously)?
[identity profile] americandiva.livejournal.com
I love the name Peyton for a girl. It is, by far, my favorite name.

The problem is I don't have a middle name for it that  I love

I thought of Peyton Danielle since Its a family name...but idk if I really love that one.

Any suggestions for a middle name for Peyton?

If you named your wee girl after a singer, which names or name would you choose?

This singer can be from a movie, your favorite singer with a CD out or just one from an animated cartoon as well! Let's have fun with this one!

If I named one of my wee girls after a singer, I would either name her Celine Rose or Ariel Grace. How about the rest of you?

Kaija
Kaisa
Kajsa

Kaija is pronounced like Kaya, and Kajsa and Kaisa are pronounced the same (kind of kye-za).

Which do you prefer?

My English teacher just had her baby--Braya Elyse. Obviously, she's a she. :)

I like Elyse, but don't get Braya? [it's pronounced just like it looks.] The mother's name is Erin, and she has some Irish background, more likely than not.

wdyt?

I know its crazy, 2 babies in 3 days. There's a baby boom in my group of friends. I guess it comes with us all being around 30yo and married. LOL

Rory Fisher Jones (Fisher is mom's family name). 7lbs11oz 20inches. CUTE!

So... one of my co-workers is pregnant with baby 3. She and i talk about names all the time, and since she can't think of any, i told her i would bring her a good list. Dad is Bill, Mom is Brooke, Big brother is Hayden, and big sister is Maren. Last name is Italian sounding, and starts with a hard C.  They don't know if it's a boy or a girl.

Ivanka - Y/N?

Ivanka > Stella?
Ivanka < Stella?

These are the names I've set aside for potential children.. thinking more than 5 minutes ahead about the future makes me physically sick, however, so I have no idea when I'd be having these children.

Girls:
Yale
Katia (pronounced Kotch-ya)
Regina
Pearl (I'm semi-worried that as a vegan I shouldn't name my children this..)
Colgate

Boys:
Leo
Holden (Is it too pretentious?)

Thoughts?
