My English teacher just had her baby--Braya Elyse. Obviously, she's a she. :)

I like Elyse, but don't get Braya? [it's pronounced just like it looks.] The mother's name is Erin, and she has some Irish background, more likely than not.

wdyt?

Elyse is gorgeous. Braya is horrible, reminds me of donkeys.

Eh. Makes me think of braille.

The two names sound good together though.

Braya could maybe grow on me, but it's not a name I would use. Elyse is cute.

I know a girl named Brea, pronounced that way. Maybe it's just a different spelling?
