Jennifer Lopez is rumored to have picked the names for the fraternal twins she is expecting: Max and Emme (boy and girl).

My thoughts: Max is already Christina Aguilera's kid's name, it may be a childish reasoning, but what's with giving a plain name that some other celebrity kid, born around the same time, alreay has?
And Emme? As in Emmy Awards? It's not even a name?

Overall evaluation: I'm boo-ing her names :P

I agree on Emma, but Emme just sounds out of place to me!
It's not even short for anything that I know of..

If I have to choose a formal name to have Max as a nickname, I think I'd choose Maximilian.

I like Max, but then it's my brothers name & I chose it so I guess I'm biased.
I don't really agree with you about the Christina Aguilera thing though. It would be different if she went with something crazy like Jason Lee's Pilot Inspektor but Max is a normal name so.. it's not like everyone will equate it to X-Tina or JLo.
How many Ava Elizabeth's around the same age are there in Hollywood.. too many, that's what!

Emme- yeh boring/odd..she should go with the gorgeous Esme.

I think it's silly to not use a name because someone you know has used it, especially if they're not even friends but merely in the same line of work. Also? It's a common name. Aguilera doesn't get the rights to it, regarldess.

And Emme is a name as far as I know... there's a 30-something former plus-sized model with the name.

I wouldn't choose them, but I don't dislike them, either.
