"Lizzy" gives me pleasant Jane Austen/Georgian flashbacks, ha ha.

"Betsy" is very cute when you get used to it, though. And it really distinguishes you from all the other Elizabeths.

My favourite is Lizzie ... I first heard it as a character from Berenstain Bears hehe and I liked it then. I had kind of forgotten about it for a while, but reading Pride and Prejudice reminded me how much I love it.

Elizabeth (but possibly with an S instead of a Z) was/is on my top list of names, but my best friend is pregnant right now and that's the name she's chosen. :( They're going to use the nickname Beth.
