I love it - but I prefer Elisabeth for a spelling. Elisabeth Michelle is in my top three. :)

I like Lizzie/y and Libby.

My favorite is Eliza, but I voted for Ellie, since it's not on there.

"Lizzy" gives me pleasant Jane Austen/Georgian flashbacks, ha ha.

"Betsy" is very cute when you get used to it, though. And it really distinguishes you from all the other Elizabeths.

My cousin's name is Elizabeth. We are really close and I call her E.B. But everyone else calls her Liz, I believe.

My mother's name is Bettina, but I wouldn't exactly call it a nickname... it's the German equivalent of Elizabeth.

My favourite is Lizzie ... I first heard it as a character from Berenstain Bears hehe and I liked it then. I had kind of forgotten about it for a while, but reading Pride and Prejudice reminded me how much I love it.

Elizabeth (but possibly with an S instead of a Z) was/is on my top list of names, but my best friend is pregnant right now and that's the name she's chosen. :( They're going to use the nickname Beth.

I prefer just plain Elizabeth, but I think Elle, Libby or Liza, depending on the personality.

My favorites are Ellie, Libb[e]y/Libbie, and Liza. Bethie's cute, too, but, should I name my future daughter Elizabeth that would not be an option as I, myself, am a Beth[any].

You missed my favorite one, Elsa.

For me its a toss up between Ellie and Libby, both are sooo cute but I don't think either of them age well.
