What do you think of the name Adalida (add-uh-lie-duh)?  It is actually a George Strait song and since I absolutely love George Strait I have thought about using this name with the nickname Ada (ay-duh), but I just didn't think it worked.  I don't love the name like I love the name Ada.

WDYT

Initials. How important are they? I tend to stay away from initials that spell something but lately I've been liking some 'H' names like Heidi and Helen/Helena. The problem is that my last name is Osborne so the initials would be HO lol. I'm sure kids would figure this out and it could lead to teasing :(

Just wondering how common the whole teasing about initials thing is. My initials growing up were AMF (my last name was my mom and dad's last names hyphenated together) No one ever teased me for my initials but there was a bowling alley down the street called AMF Bowling

What do you think of Ella Jae?
I love the name Ella (despite it's popularity), but i'm so sick of hearing of Ella Grace/Rose/May etc.
I like the fact that Ella is really girly and Jae not so much, but i can't decide if they sound good together or not.

So, what do you think?

We found out that we are having a girl last week, and have narrowed it down to two names:

Abigail Elizabeth (nn Abbie) or Harper Elizabeth

The Elizabeth stays, because it's my mother's name AND my best friend's name. My two-year-old son's name is Jackson Elliot (nn Jack). If you want to suggest other first names that go well with Jackson and the middle name Elizabeth, feel free.

Two of my teachers have had baby girls this year... a Cameron Jane and a Lillian Mae. (I'm not sure of the spellings.)

Also, WDYT of Eleazor? I'd probably prefer it spelled more straighforward spelling, like Elizor... I can't figure out if I like it or not.

Do you guys like the names Nolin & Ada & Eli? They're my cousins, they're siblings. I don't really like any of their names much, Nolin and Ada are ok, even though Ada is really short since the last name is Smith, and Eli I don't like at all.

Also my friend's teacher had a kid and he named her Buttercup, after his favorite candy. Hahaha does anyone like that name?

We recently found out we are expecting our second baby. Its still early in the game as I'm not yet seven weeks but I've loved names forever. I think the middle name, if its a boy, is going to be Edward. I've loved it for a long time and its become a top favorite. I'm not really positive on first names yet. Some we agree on are Landon, Christian, Evan, Abram, Charles, Cameron, and Atticus. My first born is Leo Nicolas.

Sibset I heard today: Christohper and Rachel. I think it is a nice combo.

Also - the first baby born in 2008 (in my city) Stella Kristina. I am not too fond of the double a sound at the end, but I really like Stella!

WDYT?
