Do you guys like the names Nolin & Ada & Eli? They're my cousins, they're siblings. I don't really like any of their names much, Nolin and Ada are ok, even though Ada is really short since the last name is Smith, and Eli I don't like at all.

Also my friend's teacher had a kid and he named her Buttercup, after his favorite candy. Hahaha does anyone like that name?

I once knew a clown named Buttercup.

Several of my family members are clown phobics, so you're not alone! LOL

Eli has always seemed like a nickname to me. Ava sounds like it fits better with the two boys, but I like Ada nonetheless. Nolan is nice and refreshing, spelled correctly.

Ada is a lovely name if you don't have a noun last name.

I love Ada and Eli, but I'm not sure about Nolin. Is it a boy's name, and pronounced like Nolan? Or is it a girl's name? If it's the former, I love it; if it's the latter, I don't.

I don't like Ada and Nolan at all but I like Eli.

Buttercup suites only for a petname.

I'm exactly your opposite when it comes to those names: I love Eli (it's even on my list) but I don't like Ada & Nolin.

I like Nolan, spelled like this, I think Ada is too old fashioned (although I like 'revival' names on the new generations), and I like Eli only as a nickname for Elijah.
I think with Smith as the last name, they should have looked for more complex names. They're kind of plain like this.

If Buttercup is the real name, that's criminal.

I like Nolan (close enough) and Ada's not bad. Eli I see as a nickname.

I don't think anyone should be named after candy. I don't even like the name "Candy," actually. Plus, there's something disturbing about the implication that her father would love to eat her. And all that aside, I don't think Buttercup works as a human name outside of The Princess Bride.

I like all of those names, in variations.

Adaline nn Ada

Ada reminds me of this really, really, really amazing restaurant... Nolan is an alright name (Nolin is bad) but has embarrassing connotations for me... and I never gave Eli much thought, but I guess I like it.
