Would anyone mind offering some lists of girls names that are currently considered fashionable, yet fairly tradiational? I'm trying to find a suitable name for the heroine character of an original dark fantasy story that I'm playing around with and I'm having a really hard time coming up with anything that fits. So I'd really love some suggestions.

Thanks. :)

I have been teaching in the 0-12 month Sunday School class this quarter (my son is 8.5 months old). What do you think of the names of these babies (off the top of my head, there may be some more that don't come as often)

Reese
Payton
Reagan
Avery (x2)
Hayley
Bella
^those are the girls, next come the boys

Cason
Carter (x2)
Anderson
Jackson
Hunter
Benjamin
Dylan
Nathan
Colton
Brady

Ellison for a girl?

I saw this posted on the board at the gym. At first I thought it was weird, but the more I think about it, it's kinda cute. Plus I like the nicknames Elle and especially Elly. I don't think I'd name my kid that, but I could see it having cute potential.

Opinions?

Avonell

Thoughts on Avonell as a girl's name?

I used to babysit a girl with that name, and her parents called her Avey. (This was about 15 years ago.) It's always stuck out in my brain as one of the oddest names where I just think, "How did they come up with that one?" For the first few times I babysat her, I thought her name was Abby, not Avey.
