I was just visiting a blog I've been going to off and on for several years now and the author of the blog gave birth to a baby girl earlier this week. She joins a big sister.

Their names:

Amelia Joan
Lillian Jan

I think they go really well together, I love it.

I'm really interested in sibling names, so I thought I would post the names of my baby cousins who are siblings:

Hunter Benton (boy)
Logan Anne (girl)

&

Conner Bryce (boy)
Avery Jordyn (girl)

Just because? I'm bored, haha. Anyway.

After my last post, I thought about how people mispronounce obvious names, and such.

What does everyone think of the name Cullen ("Kull-en")? It's my 6 year old cousin's name, and some aunts and uncles in the family, and family "friends", to this day, call him "Colin" (pronounced Cole-in) and "Collin" (Call-in). They even write his name like that!

Now, in the case of my family, the fact that Cullen's name is mis spelled and mispronounced is due to the laziness and disregard my family has towards actually learning the name.

But, as someone posted in a comment to me, their daughter's name is Rylee and people mispronounce that name, too.

What are some other names that people butcher, such as Cullen and Rylee?

Its almost impossible for me to narrow my girls list down to 5 bc I have so many girls names that I LOVE however I did it....

Girls:

Anna - Graceful - I love the Classicness of this name and I think its great for young child and adult. I also love the combos Annabel, Annalise and Annmarie

Elisabeth - Pledged to God - Love it for the same reasons as Anna - NN Ellie or Ella

Nora - Women of Honor - Heard this name on Cheaper by the Dozen when it first came out and fell in love with it!

Meredith - Great Ruler - Have always loved this classic name that is making a comeback

Natalie - The Lords Birthday - Love this Name

My boys names are easy to narrow down. Im very picky about boys names however I have a list of 6 boys names that all start with C - Cole, Caleb, Conner, Coleton, Carter and Colin that I would forsure use

Boys:

Luke - From Lucania - interesting meaning...lol - Absolutely love this name! Its perfect!

Benjamin - Son - My FI mentioned this name and I really fell in love with it. Its classic but works

Nicholas - People Of Victory - Not sure... I love the name Cole but feel that Cole is too short and babyish for a FN so I like Nicholas or Coleton with the NN Cole

Caleb - Courageous - Ive always loved this name

Jack - Lord is Gracious - even though its super popular its one of those great names that will never get old to me.
