What about the name Kahlan? (Kay-lynn)

I love it! It's a cute feminine name, but not too feminine!

While I'm all for the silent "h", I'm not sure I like it so much in this name. I like the sound of the name Kaylynn, but not crazy about the spelling with the "h", or with all the "y's"

I like the SOUND of the name, but if I were to use it, I'd use an alternate spelling. Kaelin? Kailyn? I could see too much confusion as to the pronunciation of it spelled your way.

Having a last name that is constantly mangled has made me very aware of how annoying it is when someone can't pronounce your name after reading it, and it's something I'll always consider that when naming children (or pets).

the spelling is confusing when the name is actually pretty nice.

Kahlan doesn't look anything like it would be pronounced Kaylynn. I don't like it.

my best friend in junior high was named Cailin (pronounced the same).

Though I don't really care for your spelling of it. It looks like it's be pronounced like Alan with a K in front.

This spelling looks like it would be pronounced "Callan," I think. Kaylin/Cailin/Kaylynn would make the pronunciation easier, but it really just sounds like "Caitlin" without the T, to me.

It just reminds me of Kahlan from America's Top Model. I don't care for the name or the spelling. But she seemed like a sweet girl! :)

I think the name is very pretty. I have to agree with the others about an alternate spelling. I used one with my daughter's name- Rylee- and NO ONE says or spells her name right. I've serouisly thought of legally changing the spelling of her name.

I thought it was pretty obvious how to say her name. The reason we chose that spelling was b/c Rylee (Riley) is traditionally a boys name. I wanted her teachers or who ever to look at it and see that it was a girl. People usually call her Ray-Lee or we've even gotten Really a couple of times. It drives me insane!

It looks like it would be pronounced CAL-lyn. I don't like it at all.

I don't like it. There are just so many names that start with Kay- and so many spellings that few people would pronounce it or spell it correctly...it would always take an explanation, every time she met anyone.

I think it would be even cuter when said like Collin.. but I love the lynn too.. so I still like it either way. :]

I like the name, but not that spelling. (My cousin's little girl is Cailin Rose, and I'm not nuts about that spelling, either, mainly because it took my dad about two years to stop calling her Caitlin.)

All Varients of Kaylin are super popular at the moment, there's tons of them on the top 1000. Though that spelling isnt there!
