babynamesMy Great Grandma Parthena (Gramma Valya) married Michel (pronounce Michele). They had three sons named Tanas (pronounced Tuh-nahsh), Yura (my grandpa) and Nikola (Colya).
*Edit* Parthena is Greek, Michel is Russian, and they raised their children in Turkey, so the names may have Turkish influence. Nikola is definitely Russian.

We're British; Scottish/Anglo-Saxon [from back in the day] on Dad's side, and just English [far as me know] on mum's side. Though her father's family were Welsh.
