State Names

babynamesAre there any names that are also names of US states that you like?
The only one I can think of that I like is Georgia, and I think that is because it was definitely a name before it was a state. Same with Virginia although I don't like it. I met a kid named New Jersey once, I think that was going a little far.
So WDYT? Any good state names? Avoid them altogether?

Date: 2008-11-22 10:43 pm (UTC)Alabama is such a guilty pleasure for me. I think I shall name my next Sim baby Alabama. I also really like Tennessee (more acceptable because of Tennessee Williams, right? Right?) and Georgia is a name that I am deeply considering for a little girl, but it might not work, since my name is Savannah.
