One of my former teachers recently had a baby girl:

Olivia Claire

Olivia joins big sister Maria Catherine.

We just found out we are having a girl (due in June) and we are having trouble with spelling of the first name and choosing between 2 middle names.

First question is which spelling do you like best: Hadleigh or Hadley.

Also, do you like Elise or Annalise (Anneliese) as a middle name?

TIA!

I'm looking for a middle name for Esme. Aside from no creative spellings, anything else goes. It can be kooky, out there, classic, romantic, hippy, trendy, popular, any origins. Since it starts with a vowel the middle name can start with any letter. Any amount of syllables. So basically just let your imaginations run rampant!

Esme is going to be our new back up name replacing every other name on the previous list except for Elsa Fleur which is still our top pick. The others are out for various conflicting reasons. Sophia could be used as a middle name now. But that would be all I have so far. Please, may your lists run long! And as always, thank you! <3

P.S. In case you haven't seen my last name plastered all over previous posts the name would read out Esme _______ Gibbons.

Still considering names for our baby girl that will be here in ten days (or less)! We have a few favorites but I have been stuck on finding good middle names. There are some restrictions! We have a very long, Italian last name with 4 syllables that ends in an i (sounding like ee) so I don't want the middle name to end with an "a" or "ee" sound, and I don't want it to start with a vowel either (since first name ends in an "a"). Picky I know... Thanks in advance! Here are some of the names we like right now:

Guiliana (this one is in the lead right now)
Nina
Sylvia
Bianca
Cecelia
Leena

Some of the middle names I've been tossing around are:
Mae
Camille
Grace
Claire
Faye

I've always loved names and I HATE that I haven't decided on one yet, but I just can't seem to commit! Maybe once I see her, it will just come to me, lol.

How do you feel about having a 'word' name for example Daisy, Paris, Ruby with the surname Cook(e)? For/against/depends? Any names that you'd completely avoid because of that surname?

Also, opinions (suggestions of other names would be greatly appreciated):
Henry Daniel
Leo Nicholas
Rhys Matthew
Other names considered: Charles/Charlie, Aidan, Lewis, Liam, Casper, Zac - as a nn for Zacharria or Zachary, Arthur, Noah

Girls names considered: Madeleine, Lila, Olive/Olivia, Amelia, Elise/Alice, Lucy, Daisy, Isla

Also, any ideas of alternatives to these names that could be used to honor family members?
Peter Brian, Shaun James, Edward John
Muriel, Denise, Angela, Sophie

So I've currently got baby boy number 4 in my belly and we are having the HARDEST time EVER agreeing on a name for him.  I've literally named every name under the sun, some I don't even really like, and he's vetoed them ALL.  *shakes fist in air*  My favorite choice is Ryker  LOVE it.  He HATES it.  He suggested Maximus briefly, and I was willing to compromise (would have preferred Maxwell or just Max) but then he vetoed HIMSELF.  Now he's bound and determined that he absolutely wants the name Lucian.

I don't know how I feel about Lucian.  I don't HATE it...but it doesn't roll out of my mouth very easily when I try to say it.  Also, totally no clue on a middle name.  This whole naming process is making me slightly miserable this round.

Thoughts?  Opinions?  On both the name Lucian and suggestions on possible middle names.

Side note one:  My 4 year old sons name is Kayson and it is by far my favorite boy name I've come across.

Side note two:  If we'd had a girl her name would have been Sylvana Rose (were never definite on spelling).  Most people seemed to hate it, but we were completely unphased by their hate :P

Side note three:  I love old fashioned girl names.  My #1 girl choice that he super-vetoed was Eleanor.

Ok I'm done now.
