Emmaline Margaret as part of this sibset?
Sep. 1st, 2008 11:50 amSister-in-law is tossing around the idea of another baby (YAY!), and has said she's definitely use Emmaline Margaret for a girl. What do you think? I'd suggested the name about a year ago when she said she'd want a third baby of her own (nephew is my brother's, but not my SIL's biologically). I personally love it. And Margaret is my real first name, and was my mother's name. They'd probably nickname her Emma (other girls are "Lily" and "Scar," lol, though I call Scarlett "Scarly"), though I also suggested Lena as a nickname, and SIL likes that too. :)
Also, any ideas for boy names? Their theme is that is has to be eight letters, can't be TOO off-the-wall, but can't be super-common either. I like Benjamin, but neither of them likes it (plus I just had a cousin name a baby boy Benjamin). Middle name would be either Michael (brother's name), William (dad's name, grandfather's name, brother's name) or Robert (SIL's father's name).

I really like the name Javier. Its reminds me of the actor. Aslan is weird. C.S Lewis fans, perhaps?
what do you think?
Sep. 1st, 2008 02:44 pmLenora Elsa ___ Angeloni
Lenora: the "Spanissh version" of the name Lenore, that was used by Edgar Allan Poe (i'm a big fan).
Elsa: my grandmother's name, i promised her i would use her name with my first daughter.
The third name: i don't have it yet, it could be Tabata. My best friend is choosing it!
Luna Alejandra Cannon Angeloni
Luna: i think this name is just beautiful and sweet. Is the name of a character from an story i wrote, an story that i loved.
Alejandra: my mom's name. She's the most important person in my life, so i want to use her name too.
Cannon: yes, i'm a freak, i know it! xD I really love an old tv series named "High Chaparral", Cannon is the last name of the main family. I know most people here don't like the name because of the meanning, but here in Argentina it means nothing ;)
Loreley Julia Gitana Angeloni
Loreley: there was a girl with this name when i was in High School and i always loved it! It's the name of a beautiful japanese song too.
Julia: my best friend's name. I love her so much, so i totally want to use her name too!
Gitana: Gitana means Gypsy girl in Spanish. I will try to explain the pronunciaton, it's really hard because as you can see, my English is horrible! Gi like the word "him" without the "m", ta like in "tan" without the n and na like "nuh". I love all the Romani history and culture and i think the name sounds strong and feminine at the same time!
If i ever had a boy:
Lennox Alonso Angeloni
( Long list... )
getting desperate.
Sep. 1st, 2008 07:47 pmSeamus (too irish. we're each only 25% but have an irish last name, so irish first names are out.)
Anselm (I find it awkward to pronounce. I'm not asking for pronounciations, I know HOW to, I just find it awkward. I don't think I could do that to a kid.)

I adore the English sounding family of Edward, Stacey, Jocelyn and Hamilton, although I don't think I'd curse a son with the name Stacey in this era. Jocelyn is growing on me more and more every time I see it. Are there any other legit ways of spelling it?
Family names again!

Yes, my dad's side of the family has a thing for 'E' names...
It was pronounced kind of like.... SAA-mi-a
not the short a of Sam, more rounded. The i was kind of short... almost saam-ya
It stood out to me because I've never heard of it before but it seems kind of simple. Not sure that I love it, but it's refreshing.
WDYT?

They are a family that go to my little sisters school.
They're all very religious names. But I like them individually and also as a set.
also, one of the pupils at the school my mum works at is a girl named:
