Is Judah a terrible name?

My mom and MIL both hate it. Mom says it's like "Judas" and my MIL says it's "Hippie Dippie, and you're not religious or Jewish so why use it?"

And if I ever have another baby (likely in the next two years, we just had our first) - Judah is number one on my list.

What are your thoughts? And what works as a middle? Judah Simon is cute to me.

i am heartbroken.

the man and i have been casually tossing around names. we both have the baby bug, big time, and are probably going to start trying within the year.

so finally, after all this time, a couple of days ago, i told him what my favorite name in the whole world is...

francesca

its been my absolute number one favorite for a long time.

i have others i love too, but this one is very special to me.

his response? "francesca [hislastname*] sounds HORRIBLE!!" only to be followed by "it sounds like a soft drink - have some refreshing fran-CHESS-caaaaaaaaah" *insert his unnecessary sound effects of popping a soda can open here*

it made me quite sad. it has a LOT of meaning for me!

1. my maternal grandfathers name was francis
2. the patron saint of my birthday is st francis of assisi
3. the mans confirmation name is francis (also after st francis of assisi)
4. st francis of assisi is the patron saint of animals - my man is a veterinarian and i have done tons of shelter work and the like, we are both HUGE animal lovers
5. it means "freedom" which is just very special to me
6. frankie is thee most kickass nickname for a little girl

the only additional response i got was "what about chloe?" *vomit*

help!

EDIT.....I'm sorry people! Chlor is indeed NOT a name! [I hope!] That's a type for Chloe!

I am bored at my grandpa's house so I thought I'd post the names in my mom's side of the family (cause I'd need two days to post my dad's side... he's one of 13). So here they are (I don't know all their middle names sadly):

Naming...

Okay. The ex and I are on a debate about what to name our daughter.

The name he wants to go with:
Bailey Jaimes Hannah ____
Now, I'm okay with Bailey... Baily Jaimes gives the intials BJ. His argument is, she doesn't have to tell anyone her middle name. He is STUCK on this name. *sigh*
I will NOT give my daughter the first name Hanna. It is a family name for him.. And well, his mother REALLY wants us to pick it. I hate his mother. I refuse to pick any name that she likes, so as not to give her the idea that I picked it for her or that she won in any way. (Immature of me, I know.. What's worse is, I like the name. But I can't, won't, will not do it)

I like Kyra Sage (now, we could either put Jaimes or Hannah here, I'm not oppose to either one as a middle name really, I am just opposed to BJ)
Kyra pronounced Ky-rah (rhymes with Tyra like Banks)

Now,  I know how a lot of you feel about 2 middle names, and I'm doing it anyway.. I have 2 and so does my sister lol. BUT I do ask, can you suggest any kind of comprimise between the two names. OR maybe, some ideas I can throw his way?? I mean, he is really stuck on this name. And while I'm not STUCK on my name, I really like it a lot.
