I found this random name generator and thought of y'all.   I like it because you can set how obscure you'd like the names to be, the gender, and how many names it gives you.  It gives you last names too, but I've just been ignoring those; though it would be helpful for naming characters or somewhat.

Anyway, here's the very first list I got, with obscurity set at 50.

Rod  --Ech.
Carolin --I'd rather it have an 'e' at the end.
Ali --Don't like it.
Alvaro --Something about this appeals to me, actually.
Son --Nah.
Ela --Kind of a cute nn, but I like it better with two 'L's
Marcel --Like this one.
Sadye -- 'Sadie?'
Jeffry --This isn't bad, but I don't like the nn Jeff.

Anyway, have at it, it's pretty entertaining.

What do you think or the name Kirsty? Is it a common name in America or elsewhere? Would you have the temptation to say Kristy?

I just got back from the grocery store and my cashier's name-tag read:

DAWNUELL

I almost asked how it was pronounced, but I'm assuming Dawn-yell.

WDYT?

What do you think of the name "Mina" with possible NN's of "Minnie" or "Mini" or "Mimi".

WDYT of Mina Alejandra?

Any other suggestions?

My boyfriend's brother's girlfriend's name is Charlesey.

Pn. like Charles-ee. It sounds kind of like an adjective to me, like it's not quite Charles, but it is Charlesey...

I've never seen it written, so I don't know how it's actually spelled... Charlesy, Charlesey, Charlesie, Charlesee?

If anyone's heard this name before, how is it usually spelled?

And what do you think overall?

I don't like it. Charles is way too masculine of a name, even though the "ee" sound makes it a little more feminine I guess, it still just doesn't work for me.

The funniest part is that the brother's name is Charles. So the couple is Charles and Charlesey.

OK. So, I volunteer at a hospital and there's a little girl there who name is Merry. She's like 6ish, and she's adorable.

So...WDYT?

Hello!

I was just scanning over the last couple of entries, and realized a number of them had mentioned the name Margaret as a first or middle name. Soo, I was wondering, WDYT of the name?
It's my first name, and I used to hate it when I was young, but now am all right with it. I also only go by Margaret, none of the nicknames appeal to me
at all.
Comment away!

My son is Kade David Walker - SO really likes Logan Daniel if we have a little boy in the future, yep me too.. but Logan is too popular in this area, so far whenever i say 'Kade' no one in this area has heard of it, and he's 2.5 years old. I kinda want that to continue.. so instead of Logan Daniel, i'd like something else.

Can you fill in the blank? here are examples of names i like (SO has veto'd all the boy ones, but it'll still give you an idea)!

Kade, Beck, Rylan, Gage, Shay, Vaughn..

They are all out =[, i need help. Last name is Proudlock.

"_________ Daniel Proudlock".
