My husband and I are TTC and we occasionally talk about baby names...ok, I mostly do. However, he actually gave me two girls names last night that he really likes:

Hailie, Haylie, Haylie---however you would spell it
and
Hilary

I don't know if he has a facination with the Duff sisters, but he really likes Haylie

WDYT about the two and what do you prefer as far as spelling?

My husband and I have semi-chosen all our possible girl names, after hours of debating, looking up names online and talking about family traditions, we've chosen: (middle name suggestions for all names are welcome/begged for!)

Charlotte Nicole (nn Charlie)
Sophia Rae (nn Sophie)
Delaney (we're having lots of trouble with middle names for her, her nn would be Lane, so we'd like it to sound good with both)
Evelyn Noel (nn Eve/Evie)

however, we've hit a roadblock with our boy names. We both like a lot of a traditional/common names- but we don't like them together (i.e Jacob Richard) so we'd like slighty different but not entirely out there middle name suggestions. first names are pretty much set in stone, though if there are different spellings, please share :)

Colin
Jackson
Daniel
Jacob
Richard

Some kids I saw at work today:

Tom [maybe short for Thomas], Abigail and Lydia [the other kids were calling her 'Liddy'.]

Lindon [b] and Katelyn - Don't know how Katelyn was spelt.

Trinity - Not at all a name I would usually like, but she was SO tiny and cute.

My cousin is due in June and finally picked out a middle name for her daughter (they've had a first name picked out forever). So, in June we will be adding to the family:

Gabriella Rose

I posted a while ago about a mother of two kids at my preschool who had a baby, and named him Luke James Treanor, with brother Jack and Tess Treanor. Most of you said it did not flow well (and I do agree)

Well I just found out that they did name him Lucas James Treanor nn Luke.

Much better right? :]

How do you pronouce Casey and KC?

For me it is Casey as 'CAY-see' (with a falling intontation) and KC as 'CAY-SEE'(more flattish/slight rise).

I was wondering, because I like the latter, but for some reason I don't like the first. There's probably been some bad connotations along the way, unless it's for a girl. And it's the name of the person in my icon.
