okay, so i have two girls' names picked out that i am completely in love with.
they are: Winifred Happiness and Theodora Sunshine.

yes, i am using hippie middle names for my children. it's important to me. i won't be using them as the first name, as i want my children to have first names that are more mature and respectable by the general public.

now the problem is, i can't think of any boy names that i like, except august/augustine, but i'm not sure about those ones because augustine seems like he might be mistaken for a girl, and i love augustine more than august.
i don't think they have to match my girl names or anything, and if i find a name i love that isn't the same style i'd still use it, but i just thought it'd be helpful to give you some ideas on what kind of names i like. my other favorite girls names are prudence, hazel, camilla, willow, luna, frances, pearl, etc.

so...any suggestions for boys' names that aren't very common or boring, that aren't excessively weird? and if you have any good masculine "hippie" middle names to go with, that'd be nice too. thank you. :)

Grace, Marie, Lee/Anne, Elizabeth etc are already used in our family - anything remotely not overused would be fantastic!! thanks in advance =D

What do you think of the name Loretta?

I used to think it was the prettiest name in the world, and then fell out of love with it because for some reason or another I decided it was weird...

I'm slowly starting to fall back in love with it, although I'd never use it for a child (of mine) because I used it as a character in a story, and I don't like over lapping my "potential baby name list" and "story character list"

In talking with an old friend today, he and his wife named their new baby Zoe Lilla.

In the paper today, there were some birthday announcements for toddlers named:

Camden Last Name (boy)
Tyler Jackson Last Name
Ann Chason Lastname
Sullivan Ayer Last Name (girl)

While I'm posting names, I should mention we had a local news woman here named Drexel Gilbert and a local real estate guru named Starke Last Name.

Just thought I'd share.

If you had to choose between these two for a girl, what would it be

Memory or Melody?

Also, wdyt of Rogan for a boy? I really like Logan, and I've just heard this one on tv as a last name.

My birth name was Maleiah. No one else i know has ever spelled it this way.

I've seen it Malaia, Maleia, Malaya, Malea but whats like the politically correct way to spell it?

Despite my initial reluctance, I have caved and made a name list:

It doesn't have any combos; it's basically just a compilation of all of the names that I like (for girls, I'm on a bit of an Italian/Spanish kick, if you couldn't tell). It's a bit long, but it doesn't require a lot of thought since it lacks combos or a last name. All of my favorite combos are in a poll under the following cut, as I could not fit everything into my name list.
