It will still be a good 3-4 months before I find out the sex of my baby but, if it's a boy, my baby daddy is dead set on naming him Lachlan (after his grandfather). Now, I don't think it's a horrible name but it's certainly not high on my list either.. and with his last name (MacEachern), it just sounds way too Scottish. So I'm curious if anyone knows of any nicknames for Lachlan, other than the obvious "Lach/Lock?"

Thanks :)

My husband is dead set on using the name Elvis for a son. ELVIS. I know he's the King and all, but...Elvis? Luckily, we've pretty much decided on the name for any first son we might have, but if we end up with a second's going to be a battle. I've indulged him by "putting it on the list," but there is pretty much no way I would actually consider it for a real child.

So what are any names that your partners are set on that you would never give in to?

My partner and I have pretty much decided that if this baby is a girl her name is going to be Layla. We had Morgan as the middle name, but Paul wants to keep that for any future daughters because he loves it so much. He also wants a one syllable middle name to go with Layla as he thinks it flows better. The only one I really like is Jade, but that is my cousins middle name and I don't want anyone thinking we named our baby after her.

So does anyone have any one syllable middle name suggestions to go with Layla? tia!

A couple in Florida had six babies today. Five boys and one girl joined big sister Zoe. The boys were named Brady Christopher, Eli Benjamin, Ryan Patrick, Jackson Robert and Charlie Craig. The girl is MacKenzie Margaret.

I like Eli Benjamin and Jackson Robert best.

and if you haven't already voted on the boy's names I like, could you please vote on them as well:
