What do you guys think of Thaisa for a girl? I think it could be a cool middle name. But, I don't know... Also, it's from a Shakespeare play that I don't know anything about. Opinions?

This weekend we spent a lot of time talking about baby names. Here are some of the combos we came up with

What are your thoughts on Helen and Esther as baby names? I personally love that they are classic and old fashioned. I think it gives them beauty and elegance.

My favorite Boy name at the moment is Carter...which I love with the middle name Luke or James. However I feel like its so trendy and today rather then classic which all my girls names are. Would Esther/Helen and Carter sound weird together?
Do you think your childrens names need to have similar backgrounds, orgins, sound, etc?

Just for fun, what would your name have been had you been born the opposite sex? My name is Kristy Marie, but had I been a boy, the choices were Paul Jasper III, Cody Paul, or Vincenzo Paul. I'm pretty glad I was a girl. LoL

I just got home from spending 5 weeks in the NICU(Neonatal intensive care unit) with my daughter that was born 2 months too early. While i was there there were several babies that had unusual names or ones that i dont hear too often. Of course there were 'normal' ones as well. Let me know which ones you like, hate and why.

There were more but i forget. mostly i was friends with Evan's mom, alyssa's mom and Tru's Dad. we had no first names, we were just so&so's mom/dad.

Liberty and Talon were twins. i dont mind talon but thats just because i dated a talon in high school and his mother was Native american so it made since.

Hi Everyone,
I just joined and wanted to say hi.

The hubby and I are TTC, and our planned names are Gabriel Lucas or Gabriella Lily. My hubby's hebrew name is Gabriel, so they would have their daddy's name without having a housefull of the same names.

I live in Orange County, CA, the breeding ground for unusual names, so I should have lots to share :)

My bosses' daughter's girl scout troop has a girl in it named Alexika. She's 6

I love the name Alex. I will probably have either a girl or boy with that name. But I don't like Alexika at all.
