My mom works as a preschool teacher and one year she had this really adorable little girl named Ama (pronounced AH-ma). Anyway, the name is of Ghanaian origin, and its meaning is "born on Saturday." I've always sort of liked the name.

Also, since it's Ghanaian and I'm...not, do you think it'd be odd to name my child this?
