According to People, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have named their second son Jayden James, and not Sutton Pierce as previously believed.
So, thoughts? I don't like the double Jay sound at the beginning of both names, but the fact that it doesn't alliterate with Sean Preston makes it a billion times better in my book.

Sean is a really trashy name to me, and Jayden would match that.
I adore Britney and I wish she weren't with that creep.

Date: 2006-10-24 11:07 pm (UTC)Shaun is classy to me, and Shawn is cute and fun. But Sean = slimy to me. Spelling matters A LOT to me for imagery of a name.

Date: 2006-10-25 01:51 am (UTC)I'm glad you're not taking this incredibly seriously. And, "I like them better and it's my opinion, it's just the way it is, I don't care" is a pretty effective way of debating a point, I must say.

Date: 2006-10-25 01:53 am (UTC)Why are you picking a fight? "I could care less" is an expression too, you know.
I'm just saying, I don't care where they came from because in the category of "Is this trashier" questions, origin doesn't matter to me. It's association, spelling and sound.

Date: 2006-10-25 01:57 am (UTC)I'm not picking a fight, I just find someone arguing that a name that is truly trashy, one of the first trashy misspellings, in fact ("Shaun/Shawn"), is classier than the original of that name ("Sean") hilarious.
And sound? How does Shaun sound different to Sean?

Date: 2006-10-25 02:00 am (UTC)I'm not arguing! I'm not trying to convince anyone! I was just having a conversation about it. It's my opinion - it's neither right nor wrong. It's just an opinion. Shawn has become an American way of spelling it. It's become its own version, its own name, and I don't think its a "misspelling." Are you sensitive about the name? Sorry if I offended. I'm just saying - my opinion is my opinion and it's not going to change. Sean to me looks trashy. All of the versions sound trashy. I'm not a fan of the name.
I think Shaun/Shawn look classier than Sean. It's my opinion. OPINION. You are not right - I am not right.

Just now, though, you said, QUOTE: "And classier does not always equal classy"
WELL IS IT FUCKIN' CLASSY OR NOT?
