Sutton Pierce, I mean, Jayden James Federline

According to People, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have named their second son Jayden James, and not Sutton Pierce as previously believed.

So, thoughts? I don't like the double Jay sound at the beginning of both names, but the fact that it doesn't alliterate with Sean Preston makes it a billion times better in my book.

I've had Sutton on my top names list for quite some time so I was appalled to hear that she had used it. I'm glad it's not his real name, because then I would surely never use it, but I think the name is probably ruined for me anyway because now there will still be little Suttons popping up everywhere. Sucky.

Sutton is classier. I love alliterative sibsets - me and my sister are one of those sibsets.

I'm not a fan of either name, but I like Sutton better, and it seems classier.


Sean is a really trashy name to me, and Jayden would match that.

Anything is better than Sutton Pierce. It sounds like she got it off of a soap opera. I'm not a huge fan of Jayden, but I love Jay for a nickname. James is incredibly nice.

None taken. I considered that, but ultimately decided not to because I wanted honest opinions on the names themselves, and felt like a "Who cares?" option would detract from that.

Sutton Pierce was better than Jayden James, even though I've always thought of Sutton as a girl's name. I hate the name Jayden with a passion. And when she puts it with a nice name that happens to be one of my top 3 boys' names.. makes me cringe.

Well everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion but I really don't agree with Britney's naming style. I dislike both of her boys names and the name she supposively had picked out for a girl "Jailynn." Yuck. Sean is nice but I dislike Preston and Sutton and Jayden. Pierce and James are both okay.
