I just wanted to know what y'all think of the name Daisy Mae. It's presently my first choice for a girl's name. A few of my friends have expressed disdain.

it sounds like the name of a pet or a small child. i can't imagine myself taking a grown woman seriously who was named daisy. it just doesn't sound right. i do love the middle name mae, though. my top girls name is elliot mae. :)

what's wrong is being a cunt on an internet blogging site about a name without knowing WHY it's being used. it's a family name. there are several females in my family with the name and i'd love to carry the tradition down another generation. get over yourself.

Um... I so don't want to get involved with this, but don't you think you're over-reacting a little? Part of blogging is to express your opinion, so I don't know why you're behaving so negatively when someone has expressed their opinion about your name choice.
