So I live in the US and in a part of the country where the name Freya is not used AT ALL.
By some chance my friend said the name but she said it "Frey-ya." Whereas I would say "Frey-a."
How would you, Baby Namers, pronounce this name? I am going to be really embarrassed if both of us are wrong and it is pronounced a completely different way.

Also, do you prefer Juliet or Juliette? I can't decide. Right now I am leaning towards Juliet.

Edited to add:

Frey-YAH as opposed to Frey-ah. Like the y ends the first syllable and begins the first. Whereas the way I say it, the y ends the first syllable and does not carry over. "Frey- ah" Sounds completely different to me and the difference was easily noticed by both of us. I guess I just don't know how to spell phonetically. It is a small difference but still...
