1. What is your preferred spelling of /Lee/? I always think of Leigh for a girl and Lee for a boy. But I'm sure you could write Li, Lei, Lea, or other possibilities. What seems "normal" to you?

2. How do you feel about nicknames? My husband is a "my name is Daniel, NOT Dan, thankyouverymuch" kind of person. He believes you should name the child what you plan on calling it (if you want to call your kid Tim, name him Tim and not Timothy). I'm on the other side. I wish my name (Sarah) had an obvious nickname, because I think nicknames are friendly and/or intimate. Where do you stand?

3. What do you people DO all day? This is the most active community I've ever been in. ;)

Ack! Leah is Lee-uh and Leia is Lay-uh to me. I can't have it any other way.

I see what you are saying but I am really not being kre8tiv with the pronunciation or anything.
Leah is a Hebrew name and Lay-uh is how you pronounce it in Hebrew.
