One of our customers at work is called Michael. Common enough, right? Except that Michael is a woman. A friend of mine tells me that Michael can also be a female name, but I'm not so sure.
Princess Michael of Kent doesn't count - her name is actually Marie Christine :P

Date: 2009-01-08 10:46 pm (UTC)two of my dads cousins were pregnant at the same time and they were sisters and they both wanted to name their son Michael. well the one sister gave birth first and to a girl, so she named her Michael Annalise so that her sister couldn't name her child Michael who ended up being a boy... who named him Michael James anyways.
so girl Michael goes by Annie and boy Michael goes by Jimmy... haha... their respective fathers started calling them at so neither have gone by Michael.
