One of our customers at work is called Michael. Common enough, right? Except that Michael is a woman. A friend of mine tells me that Michael can also be a female name, but I'm not so sure.

Princess Michael of Kent doesn't count - her name is actually Marie Christine :P

eta: Michael Learned is the godmother of Christopher Plummer's daughter, Amanda Plummer. As a matter of fact, Amanda's middle name is Michael, after her.
