thanks for telling me how paella is pronouced..i was kind of confused...cause it looks like it would be pronouced PA-ELLA so i was like huhhhh to the other comments :)

the double ll in spanish is pronounced different in different places, but here in mexico city it has this j-ish sound to it. when i was in texas it had more of a yuh sound to it(quesadilla, for instance). i am leaning more towards the mexico mexican pronunciation being correct rather than texan mexican.
