name problem
Mar. 7th, 2006 11:39 amOK my fiancee is 1/2 Italian... and the other part American/German/ Dutch...
and I am a european mutt hehehe...
He is really close with his Italian side and proud of it (his grandparents came straight from Italy to Ellis Island)
the problem is we like all these Italian names but his last name is very German/Dutch...
Will it sound bad having an Italian first name with a German/Dutch last name???

Date: 2006-03-07 11:41 am (UTC)I have a Jewish first name (not overly so, because non-Jews are named it but it's in the Old Testament) and a really Italian last name. It's fun to confuse people who have no idea what religion I am. But besides that, it has made no difference in my life.

Date: 2006-03-07 11:41 am (UTC)BUT since you live in the USA and there are people from all over the world, so I don't think it would sound bad.
And I've read you are thinking about Massimo Kraatz.. it really does not sound bad at all!
