Crazy names

babynamesHere are some really freaky names that I like nevertehless (but would of course never name my future children!). WDY guys think? Here's the list (in alphabetical order):

[This is assuming my German accent is good enough for you to get what I mean in both cases! It's nearly two years since I was last in Germany so I'm out of practice.]

Date: 2006-02-14 04:07 pm (UTC)I know what you mean where you feel really drawn towards a name but know that you could NEVER actually use it. I had the same thing with Indigo for a boy, but it's a colour and everyone else seems to think of it as a girls name!
Asia sounds so lovely as name, such a shame that it's a place too!
I kinda like Peta, but I would probably pronoce it Pee-ta.
I have to admit I feel drawn to Midnight, but more as a boys name than a girls name.
Pharic is so similar to the word phallic!

Date: 2006-02-14 04:14 pm (UTC)And no, Skara-Brae isn't made up at all (see above). It's a small ancient village at the coast of (I think it was). And Fiyero isn't like Figaro. The emphasis in Figaro lays on the 'Fi', not on the 'ga'.
You'll laughe, but I actually heard Franjean on a guy. Okay, in a fantasy-movie, but anyway...! :-P And why not Capulet? Well, simply because I think Montague sounds MUCH better! xD
