Gee, a comment for every name. ;-) Well, first I have to say that I have nothing against place names. Of course there are many I don't like, but there are also some I like (as Asia or Kenya). Anyway, I'm pretty damn sure that Galinda is to be pronounced ga-LYN-da and not GA-lyn-da. The emphasis, the stress is on the 'lin'. At least I heard it said like that often enough, so...!

And no, Skara-Brae isn't made up at all (see above). It's a small ancient village at the coast of (I think it was). And Fiyero isn't like Figaro. The emphasis in Figaro lays on the 'Fi', not on the 'ga'.

You'll laughe, but I actually heard Franjean on a guy. Okay, in a fantasy-movie, but anyway...! :-P And why not Capulet? Well, simply because I think Montague sounds MUCH better! xD

Umh, well yeah, actually that's where I got the name from...! I only know the incomplete Broadway recording of the show, but I could swear that while singing they pronounce it ga-LYN-da! :-/ *blushes*
