What does everyone think about the name Ireland? We seriously considered it for our last baby but ended up having a boy. I'm afraid it will be hard for some people to say, especially old relatives and kids. I hear lots of "Island's" in the future.

The only country name that I think is acceptable is Georgia...

And Irelyn is even worse. Sticking a -lyn at the end doesn't improve it. It looks (and is) made up. You can completely tell that someone liked Ireland but wanted to make it more... um... like a girl's name?

What about Isla? Iris? Irene? Beautiful names, uncommon and classy.
